The Hatters trailed late in the first half when Hwang Hee-Chan opened the scoring, before Toti doubled the lead moments after the break with a free header. Late on, Carlton Morris netted to give Town a chance, but they couldn’t find a leveller. To find out how the Luton players rated on the afternoon, see below.

Came off the bench with Woodrow just after the hour mark to at least give Luton some urgency that had been missing after conceding the second goal. Tried to bundle his way into the box on a few occasions, as he gave Town some dangerous moments, while he had a half chance to snatch a point with virtually the last kick, sending an ambitious left-footer at Sa from the edge of the box. Apart from Morris scoring, his introduction off the bench for the final 15 minutes or so was the biggest bright spark from the game. Unlike the time he came on at Huddersfield in the play-offs a few years back, this time he looked threatening from pretty much the word go, spinning his men and winning Luton some corners. If he can remain fit now and be on the pitch for longer, the Hatters have a chance. Photo: JUSTIN TALLIS

Replaced Doughty in the closing stages, as he didn't have a great deal of time to get involved in proceedings, although did take the throw-in that led to Berry's late effort. Photo: Michael Steele
